Moncton Area 2 Meter Sunday Night Net
The Moncton Area 2 Meter Sunday Night Net meets every Sunday night at 9:00 pm local time on repeater VE1MTN, frequency 147.090, positive offset.  The net is not affiliated with any club and is open to all who wish to check in. Announcements affecting the amateur community in the listening area are welcome and are usually made at the opening of the net and can be made again later on in the net.

Codiac Amateur Radio Group
The Codiac Amateur Radio Group ( CARG ) was formed in 1999 for the pending problems of “Y2K”. The purpose of CARG was to assist Emergency Agencies in the Moncton Area with Emergency Communications should the normal communication systems fail or become overloaded.

After the “Y2K” event, it was decided that this structure of Ham Radio Operators should be maintained in the event of Major Disasters or Emergencies in the Moncton area and southeast New Brunswick. The purpose of CARG remains the same:  To assist Emergency Agencies with Emergency Communications should the normal communication systems fail or become overloaded.

An Amateur Radio Communication Centre was set up in the Codiac RCMP Headquarters in Moncton and has since been in operation for special events.
